A Renaissance in You

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Ahh Spring…

the season of rejuvenation, when the rain washes away the brittle harshness of winter. It nourishes the new growth that flourishes nature’s restoration. In this enchanting time of year, we celebrate the return of Christ.

Renaissance means rebirth and it is the name given to an era after the Dark Ages or Middle Ages, when art, culture and civility flourished after the cruel barren age of inhumanity. It was the resurrection of humanity, the spring of mankind. Moreover, there was locally and in more recent history an era when our neighborhood became a mecca for a blossoming of cultural, intellectual and artistic exchange. It was truly the Spring of Harlem or The Harlem Renaissance.

This Easter renew your faith, this is your Christian Renaissance.

HE HAS RISEN

We rejoice that on the third day Jesus miraculously rose from the dead.

7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Christ is reaching out to you to rise out of darkness and renew your life too in this hopeful Spring Season. This is time of year when everyone comes to worship,

He is welcoming you to return to standing strong in your Christian faith.

This is your Christian Renaissance.

We especially love Easter because it occurs in the freshness of spring that brings all of nature is back to life after lying dormant in the colder months. We spring clean our houses and make plans for the months ahead. Additionally, we can further cleanse our lives. This is the time to rid yourself of the cross that you bear. Your cross has been carried for you. You can begin again, just as Christ rose from the darkest of circumstances to reappear to his followers before ascending to Heaven.

This is your Christian Renaissance.

Romans 10:9-10

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Many anticipate attending church on

Easter Sunday to don new outfits and look forward to excited children in their best. For Easter represents hope. This Easter, renew your faith and begin again. Wherever you have been; if you have just been living, learning, struggling, working, tending to others, having fun, or unfortunately ailing, whatever your circumstances may be, God is pleased that you have returned. You can begin again. First and foremost, if you have not given your life to Christ do it now. If you feel it in your heart, let the Lord transform your heart and transform your life.

This is your Christian Renaissance.

If you feel that it is the time for you to recommit to following Christ’s example and to walk in faith, do it now. Perhaps you have fallen out of step in your life or have abandoned your Christian principals and efforts to please God and to live in the light of Christ. This is the perfect chance to embrace the spring season in your faith,

your Christian Renaissance.

John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?

John 3:3

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

For those that have already committed your life to The Father, but have regretfully, drifted away from your commitment or if you have not been in prayer and have let the temptations, pressures and desires of the world rule your life; you can turn it around and resurrect your faith.

This is your Spring, your Christian Renaissance.

Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Some of us at times get caught up in the competition in life, the struggles and the disappointments. Some of us at times regress to living for the world but the world is not the sanctuary for your soul. We often take care of our exterior but neglect to nourish our soul. Restore the peace in your life and trust Our Heavenly Father with your life so that you can live the great life that he has ordained for you.

Live the life that CHRIST SACRIFICED HIS LIFE FOR.

This is your Christian Renaissance.

On this we pray:

Lord God, please forgive me of everything that I have done wrong.

I turn to you while avoiding sin.

Please Jesus be the center of my life.

I personally welcome you as my Lord and Savior.

I beseech you Holy Spirit, to fill me and empower me to live as God’s child.

I pray to have your Grace so that I can truly live a new life.

Thank you for hearing my prayers through the grace and mercy of Christ our Lord, Amen

1 Peter 1:3 KJV

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of our savior Christ and We give thanks for his life and sacrifice.

Ecclesiastes 3

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
